Day 1: Arrive Amritsar

Arrive at Amritsar Railway Station. On arrival meet and greet our representative who will take you to the Hotel, and check in the Hotel. Then visit the blessings of the Golden Temple-the most important sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs and is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs.

Then visit Jallianwala Bagh- where, on April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians.

After lunch visit the museum in Gobindgarh Fort. The Gobindgarh Fort is a historical museum and cultural theme park showcasing the history of Punjab and Punjabi culture in all its glory. There are various museums featuring collections of traditional Punjabi attire, household items, and even weapons of war from the olden days.

Visit a local market and wall city of Amritsar for traditional shopping. Return to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2: Amritsar - Wagah Border

Amritsar - Wagah Border

After breakfast. Enjoy a free morning to relax or explore Amritsar independently. This afternoon travel approximately 28km to Wagah or Attari Station. Attari Railway Station or Attari Sham Singh Railway Station, which is located on the India-Pakistan border, is strictly prohibited to visit without a visa and passport. It serves Attari and Wagah Border with Pakistan.

Visiting Wagah Border is an interesting experience especially at sunset when the ‘Retreat’ ceremony takes place with the BSF on the Indian Side of the Border. The changing of the guards and the ceremonial lowering of the flags ceremony is carried out with great pomp. Return to hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 3: Amritsar Durgiana Temple, War Memorial Museum, Mata Lal Devi Darshan, Ram Tirath

After breakfast visit, Durgaina Temple, was built in 1921 by Guru Harsai Mal Kapoor in the architectural style of the Sikh Shri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple). Harsai Mal was a descendant of Prithi Chand and hence Guru Ram Das. The grandchildren of Harsai Mal Kapoor are currently living in Amritsar and are the caretakers of the idol of Harsai mal Kapoor.

The Punjab State War Heroes Memorial and Museum is located on a plot of about three hectares abutting Amritsar - Attari Road on the outskirts of the holy city of Amritsar. Its location on the National Highway-1, which too only 18 kms away from the Indo-Pak International border makes it a prominent landmark and source of attraction for the tourists who visit a daily event of interesting beating-retreat ceremony at the Wagah Border.

The memorial museum is aimed at showcasing the splendid gallant deeds of the brave hearts of Punjab. It is planned to immortalize the deeds of brave soldiers and to inspire and infuse the spirit of patriotism in the youth.

Mata Lal Ji Devi Temple, Lal Devi Mandir is dedicated to a 20th-century female saint, Lal Devi, and was built in 1989. Mata Lal Devi ji was born in 1923 at Kasoor in Lahore district of Pakistan. A brahmachari, belonging to Marwaha Khatri Family who lived on fruits and milk. After Partition, she came to Amritsar and attained nirvana in 1994. Mata Lal Devi Temple is a replica of the Vaishno Devi Shrine situated in Jammu and Kashmir.

later visit Ram Tirath Temple, the birthplace of Lord Ram and Sita's Sons, Luv, and Kush. Evening free at your leisure for shopping etc in Local Market, Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 4: Depature

After Breakfast, Transfer to the railway Station to board train for onward Journey.
